Good morning beautiful soul,
I’m sitting at the most beautiful hotel in Arugam Bay in Sri Lanka. We just started our 100-hour teacher training for yin yoga therapy, yoga nidra and reiki. Ah, what a blessing it is to teach and share yoga with so many incredible people from all over the globe. If you are interested in joining one of our many trainings we would be absolutely thrilled and honored to see you on the mat. I truly feel so incredibly blessed that I get to teach and share this wonderful practice with so many souls from all over the world.
So, what I would like to talk about today is a topic that is very dear to my heart. I want to talk about already living your life as if you are living your dream life. This is so important to me. So often we just sit around waiting for life to happen. We wait to be happy until we get that Range Rover, we get that 6-bedroom house we dream about, we finish our studies, we do the yoga teacher training… You can fill the list with your own dreams and desires.
My point is we wait. We think that once X-thing happens then we will be happy. Once we finally get that beautiful home, then we will be happy. Or once we finally lose those last 10 pounds, then we will be happy.
I’m here to tell you to be happy now. Right now. In this moment. Our goals and dreams will always continue to evolve and change and we grow, evolve and change. Therefore, it’s so important that we find ways to be happy now. In this moment.
This brings me back to the title of my blog post: Live your life as if you are already living your dream life.
Now, of course I’m not telling you to go out and buy a Range Rover if you don’t actually have the money to buy one. Or buy a luxury vacation to the Maldives if it’s not within your budget. However, you can tap into the feelings of already living your dream life and start feeling those feelings now. Let me give you some examples.
Living your life as if you are already living your dream life
Let me give you some examples from my own life. I see myself writing books, coaching and teaching yoga. I see myself driving a Range Rover (my partner really wants a Range Rover), living a beautiful home with my then hubby, I see us traveling the world, and I see us having an abundance of money, love, and joy in our lives and we give money to charities and help those in need.
Now, I can tap into all of these feelings, and by the way some of these things are already happening. I am already teaching and sharing yoga, I have just agreed to write not just one, but two books, I am already traveling the world, and I already have financial stability. The Range Rover is not so much my dream to be honest with you. Sure, I love driving a nice car, but that’s more my boyfriend’s dream, however, I’m still including it in my vision of the future.
Now, we don’t have our dream home yet, and I am not yet writing books, coaching and teaching yoga full time. However, I am living my life as if I already am. I am tapping into the feelings of what it would be like. I am wearing the clothes I love. I am eating the foods I love. Every day I take small steps closer to the life I want to live. I work on my coaching business, I say yes to teaching opportunities, I travel, I visualize our dream home, I visualize us traveling the world together. Every day I do the things I can do to take a step closer to my dream life.
If for instance you see yourself living in a beautiful home with your partner, and you see yourself wearing beautiful dresses, having manicured nails and blonde hair. Well, you can go out and get yourself a couple of beautiful dresses, get a manicure and go get your hair done. Or perhaps you see yourself drinking your morning coffee mindfully at your beach house. Well, then start drinking your morning coffee mindfully now, even though you’re not yet living at your dream house.
You see what I mean? You can do some of the things you see in your dream life. I would also highly encourage you to tap into the feelings. How would you feel if you were already living your dream life? Start tapping into those feelings and feel them now. I believe in energy and manifestation. I believe in the law of attraction. The energy you put out into the world is the energy you receive. Therefore, I believe it is much easier for you to manifest your dream life if you are already tapping into the feelings now. Don’t wait.
Start living your life as if your dream life is already happening.
